OutNumbered Novelties' Sharp and Pointy Things
OutNumbered Novelties definitely deserves its own thread! Rich is a very nice guy, and he makes such cool hairtoys, and anybody who likes to use a small weapon to keep her hair disciplined would no doubt be delighted to give one of the items from his Wooden Hair Armory a try!:D
So here are some of the items I have bought:
Dúrin axe in padouk wood. Gorgeous color, isn't it? The name is taken from the Voluspá in the Poetic Edda, and Tolkien "borrowed" it for his own stories - his Dúrin the Deathless was one of the first Dwarves.

Dvalin axe in Cardinal wood and Black and White Ebony. Again a name from the Voluspá that Tolkien borrowed. :D

Then there is Aeglos - this spear was a custom, and it seems this design has become quite popular! :D I was very particular about the woods I wanted for my spear, and it turned out very well indeed! :D
And yes, it was named for Gil-Galad's spear!:D

Just visited the site - terrific stuff.

I have ordered a hair axe from this shop, the artist is very nice and the things they sell are amazing. I can not wait for my hair axe to get here.

I've been watching this shop for a while. I love the idea of Hair weapons.

Beautiful stuff -- and I love that he calls this section of his shop the "Hair Armory."

I've also been watching his shop for a while and I really like his hair armory. I fear they are all too big for my tiny buns though. :sad

Wow those look beautiful - especially Dvalin, although that makes me think of the "Batman" logo a bit :D
Re: OutNumbered Novelties' Sharp and Pointy Things
I so want this stick from OutNumbered Novelties, I can not afford it right now but I am hoping it will be there when I do, or something similar, it is such a fun piece.

His axes on Etsy have gotten waaaay too long for me, else I'm sure I would have a much larger collection. I do plan to put in for a custom at some point in the future, I would love an axe stick pair (among other things ;))
