I found the most ridiculously low priced henna on amazon just now, $3.99 for 200g. Does anyone know if it is pure or has metallic salts or what? My guess is anything this good is too good to be true.

I haven't tried it, but read other posters used it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have metallic salts, but it has other herbs like amla, brahmi, etc...
Thank you, I searched for it and people said it worked well, but no one specifically mentioned if they knew if it had metallic salts.
:twocents: Just my two penniesworth, but if it has other stuff added, or there's any question mark over ingredients, I personally wouldn't.
Pure body art quality henna shouldn't be gritty and shouldn't smell of anything other than sweet hay. Pure henna gives red, not brown.
Bumping this because I wonder if any of the current active members also have experience with this brand.
I've used it; BUT the product I used is clearly marked to the effect that it is not 100%henna. Instead, it's an herbal blend for conditioning, cleansing, and SOME coloring. It has NO metallic salts.
I like it just fine and have had consistent results.
