Hi all!

I’m new here, been lurking for a while but this is my first post I have always loved long hair and it’s been so great to find this forum. My hair is shoulder length at the moment and I’m trying to grow it to at least BSL. I’ve had BSL hair before, but three years ago I cut it to chin length bob because I felt like it was too thin. After that I’ve been growing it longer few times but every time ended up cutting it shorter after a while. Now trying to be more patient and just letting it grow

I’m also growing out my natural color. Last time I used a chemical dye was on November last year. It was a permanent color and my scalp and hair just didn’t like it at all. On January I colored my hair with hendigo. The demarcation line has been so subtle that after that I have only used cassia once. It is possible that I color my hair with hendigo again at some point, but right now I’m excited to see how my natural color looks like after it grows out more

Hello! I'm sure you'll achieve your goal with beautiful hair you love this time. Perhaps if you grow it slightly longer than your goal and then give it a good trim you'll attain the thickness you're looking for.

Hello, welcome. I lurked (still do) more I think, than "active" but I've been trying to be more "here". I also went through a long period when I would grow, then cut to chin (my go to for a GOOD hair cut, before fully embracing my curls) Now it's been the shinkage demon vs what I WANT (waist length when curly) I'm trying to tough it out, but I've had moments when I want to SHAVE IT OFF. (don't worry I won't... I'm 40 now and I don't want the "sorry about the diagnosis" to start up, but when my TEEN wanted to, I was FOR. IT.)

Anyway I've gone down to pixie but I'll prob never again. Like the idea of not doing my henna, I'm MARRIED to it for sure LOL
