ROFL!!! What an awesome name for it! I will only refer to it as Cooter Cream from now on! I actually convinced my brother to try Monistat on his head, although he laughed for ten minutes thinking it was a joke. He shaves his head now and says he'll try it in the fall so we can see a very clear and easy to measure result. And you know what just occurred to me? I am clearly slow in the head b/c I was thinking you had to use the cream on your whole head (like length and everything!), then the old lightbulb turned on. I might try it now!!! Cause before I thought it'd be way too expensive. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box!

I'm thinking of trying it.
Some are applying it in the evening (to the scalp either diluted a little or undiluted) and then washing the next morning. I generally try to leave it on at least overnight before my CO wash. Sometimes I go longer.... like now. I applied Friday morning and will probably CO wash tomorrow morning. It makes my roots look darker but not greasy. I do have fairly dry hair and scalp so I do not get the "greasies" some have talked about. I do dilute with about 45mls water and usually add a dash of jojoba and/or castor oil. I feel like it helps the miconazole dissolve more evenly in the water.
I took the coochie cream plunge last night. I got the generic 2% stuff and it was only about $4. I used ljkforu's method (pretty much) and left it on overnight. I hid it in my bedroom and haven't mentioned it to my mother and sister because they'll think I'm completely nuts. Well, they do anyway, but that's beside the point.
I guess I won't be able to use this afterall. I tried it for the first time a couple of nights ago. I used a very small amount (maybe half or third of a teaspoon), diluted. Didn't get coverage over my entire scalp, even. But woke up with a killer migraine. So I will stick to Megatek and essential oils.
