Monistat... dare we start this again

Nothing to report on the hubby front yet ... lol .. he still lets me do it so I guess that's good.

ME .. on the other hand. I have been testing it on myslef first

for just over two weeks. Just on my hair line in the front where I have two spots with very little hair and ... the one on the left is working!!! I can feel and SEE little hairs growing in, but the one on the right .. nothing

I apply even amount and at the same time ... has anyone had an uneven growth with monistat (I use 2%, no mineral oils) ?

I suck at using my Daktarin.
I'm using a dropper pipette thingy with some diluted daktarin, and even then I don't know how to apply it without coating about an inch of my roots with the stuff! I look greasy and disgusting.
My fiance's offered to help my apply it next time, so we'll see how that goes.. I want to be able to have it on my scalp frequently, but I don't know if I can manage that if I'm going to look like I haven't washed in five months >.<

You guys have convinced me, I'm giving it a try! I have my first application on my head, and it feels nice and warming, like an expensive spa treatment.

My plan is to apply undiluted 2% monistat (name brand) to damp scalp, after every wash. That works out to 3x a week. I've been measuring regularly, and I know I grow 0.5" per month. I measured today, so I know what my baseline is.

I will report back with results in 1 month. Fingers crossed!

As often as you want. I've run out of my supply at the moment but I did it every other night. Good luck!!

From reading the thread, it seems like a lot of folks use it 3 times a week. According to the original thread, once applied, it stays active for 3 days, so there's no real need to apply daily. I don't think it would harm anything, it's just a waste of product.

Ok, sorry for the late reply - I was waiting to be able to post pictures in my album but I'm not sure when we'll be able to do that again.....

So, 1 month using monistat/Daktarin about every 3 days over night before a wash. 2cm squeeze of cream, dluted in about a 10ml of water.

I think it has worked
