Monistat... dare we start this again

The name brand Monistat doesn't have mineral oil, so it shouldn't cause greasies. I find that it is the least noticable if I put it on while my hair is still wet, just after washing. When I put it on when my hair is dry, it usually makes my hair look somewhat dirty.

there is a little review of all the brands on the first page i think i tried like 3 or 4 different brands before finally settling on monistat

One tube for one to two treatments? That is the dosage info I could find.

Also, what is the verdict on the egg/sulphur rinses? Do people here still do that?

You can stretch the tube though, if you want. The type I bought was 4% name-brand and came with 3 tubes to fill. I could use each tube 3x and I mixed into a little nozzle bottle with a tad bit of water... made it easier to apply to the scalp and stretched it just a bit. Be careful of drips, I've heard that it can cause hair to grow where you're not looking for it too (like on the neck)

I just measured and double checked and then had my DH measure because it just seemed too incredible.

My hair has grown an inch in the last 10 days!!!!!!

I am at 25.5 inches from 24.5 10 days ago.
I have used the Dollar General Monistat really diluted 3x.

Holy freaking moley.

That right there has convinced me that this works.

On the down side, it is time to henna my roots!

I'm on my second day of application today and am waiting to see what happens. I can say that my scalp is itching less, however... I used to just scratch absent-mindedly every once in a while and have noted that I haven't done that at all for the last couple of days.

I am having some major itchy scalp issues right now. I am CO, so I wonder if I need to start scritching. Did you find that the Monistat helped with the itchy scalp?

did you use the name brand " monistat" form Dollar Gen or a off brand?
did you mix it with water or straight?
how many applications in that time frame?
