I'm thinking the lemon EO would help with the dry sebum issues, and the vinegar would help keep the proper acid balance on my scalp. Anyone have advice on this? TIA.
My guess is that you didn't water it down like many of us are doing, and oil your scalp to prevent the itchies and flakies.

I used a tablespoon of heavily watered old Miconazole nitrate that is in a plastic cup under my sink. Squirted some on, rubbed in and went to sleep. About 6 pm today started to itch like crazy and then I remembered that I used it last night. I think it is pretty forgiving stuff. It seems to be fine to water down 2% and it doesn't seem to go bad. My cost is so low that it is negligible. The Rogaine is the most expensive, I use 5% Minoxidil because I already have facial hair. Other women do not use anything over 2%. As soon as I started using 5% I started to grow hair back on my chest (girl type person) -- I have the doc permission to use 5% because I already have the one side effect that is serious and that is extra body hair.

(Lemon oil is a photosensitizer and makes your scalp sun burn.)

I am making noticable regrowth progress, family and doc is amazed.

Thanks, that is very helpful. I hadn't been using oil on my scalp. I usually try to avoid it due to distant past dandruff issues related to scalp oiling. But perhaps it is worth a try. That was many years ago.
But what about the vinegar mixing with the Monistat? Would that be helpful or harmful?

I have no idea -- I don't think I would add anything except water.

Good to hear Ljkforu I am also making good progress. I have baby hairs galore now that are at least an inch to three inches long.

Let us know if you start to see any stubble. I'm really curious since yours in a non-crown location.

ok! i am going to order this. I have been thinking about it and decided I'm gonna go for it! The left side of my scalp has been getting worse and worse. I held off on scratching it for a couple weeks but tonight after spending time in the cold it was so much worse. I ended up scratching my scalp until it bled. X_X i know
then i took a shower and owwwwwww
Hopefully maybe this can help some. Also with the growth that would be great
About how long and how often do you leave this on?
ETA: what is this "daktarin"? whats the difference? is one better then the other?

If by chance Monistat doesn't help you because your problem isn't fungal, give Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap bars as shampoo. It has cured my son's sebhoric dermatitis. Feel free to PM me if you need more info.
