I don't think I did until my later 30s? Now I have a big stripe of them by the base of my neck.
It's great (imho, it drives other people mental when they want a unified color) because you don't get a flat singular color, it maintains the natural depth of shades of your hair, but washes over it with a color. I think it looks a lot more natural than chemically colored reds.

Interesting, Nightshade! I also have some coarse strands that are black.
My hair overall is not as fine as it used to be, now it's definitely M with way more C peppered in.
The color's changed too- it was once very ash-colored blonde but it's now reddish and brassy- I used to henna pretty regularly, like every 3 weeks, and now I only do it maybe every 4-5 months.
(That said, I'm willing to chalk the color change up to medication changes some years ago, but still!)

Tried to search "thin hair" on instagram, and all it returned were posts with extensions. Great...

When it's broken, fix it. When it works, don't change it.

I'm determined to not cut or color my hair for 6 months atleast. I'm curious to see how much percentage of my hair is gray

and it's only for 6 months a year would be ideal but it's pushing it lol
I just found a few grays that reach very near the end of my total length!
