    When I s&d, I find splits at all lengths. Then again, all of my hair isn't all one length. I just snip the suckers off as I find them.

    The splits get bad enough to need a proper S and D session at the 3 week mark for me (currently at mid-back). That's due to old damage though and not the hair length itself.
