How paranoid are you about damage?

Probably a 3, I keep it protected as best as I can by wearing it up and treating it nicely, but I don't worry about wearing a braid and having it rub against things. It's basically at the point where I know what my hair can and cannot take, but I don't obsess over it.

Probably about the same as 2016 me, but now my hair is short enough that I wear it down a fair amount. I already have good habits of not dying/bleaching, no heat, and using gentler products to wash and condition my hair. I've also since totally ditched brushing my hair, so I'm properly caring for my texture. I'm more obsessive about my texture being preserved than anything else, which mitigates damage anyway since I'm not touching it.
