I am sure there are a couple of these on my etsy list somewhere. I have been worried that they were not a sturdy enough gauge for the weight of my hair. I think they are quite lovely. I feel I would want/need multiples for the big ole bun.

I've had them bookmarked for a while, but I just bought one of the wire forks - I was afraid they wouldn't work for me, wire stuff and my hair seemed like it would be a bad mix and had put it off, but I finally got one and I'm SO HAPPY I did! These things are awesome. The tines cross in your hair and secure themselves in and it's pretty great. Not only that but they're pretty inexpensive. So ya know...you can buy more. lol. Want to see action shots if you've gotten some!
Also, just fyi...got some gorgeous earrings in the shop too...

I was lucky enough to receive two of these beauties in a WinterSwap a bit back and LOVE them. I couldn't imagine how they would hold lots of hair wellut heck yes they do. And they're very comfortable. Yours is lovely!

I got a new package of goodies from the shop today!!!!

Be back with action shots later. Ahhhh, just love these things! I wish I'd have known loooong ago that these thin, metal sticks would work so incredibly in my hair, because I'd have been buying them long ago. They are amazing!! I really thought that having such fine, thin, crazy slippery hair - that they'd just slide out or something, but they don't! They are just flexible enough that whether I put them straight in or weave them in, they hold so amazingly. I also like that they're different looking than my everyday acrylics sticks and such, kind of pretty and simply elegant looking. <3

Wow, Aspen, lovely Package I cannot wait to see photos!!!!!
I am very enabled, what holds me back is that I am not sure what metal alloy is used in them.... and I am allergic to several metals...
do they appear clear coated by any chance?

They're Nickel silver I think....no coating on them from what I can see. =/

Here's a few action shots of the latest haul! I really think I want to get a matching set of three or four of the forks in the 3-3 1/2" length, to use in buns for holding and decoration.

They really are so pretty, AspenSong! I've got a few in my cart ready to go, but am trying to hold off buying until we move in a few weeks. I'll just keep popping in here to drool until then...
