I think I need to give this another go... My ends have gotten grabby, and I haven't done a treatment other than henna in a couple of months. Time for a treat!

I got little white clingy bits last time I did an SMT.
I used Biolage conditioning balm, honey, trader joes aloe gel, and just a teaspoon of jojoba.

I've done SMTs many times without any residue. The only change was the Biolage. Has anyone had this experience?

I want to try this but does anyone know where I can buy clear aloe gel in the UK? Is it the sort of thing I can buy in a shop or will I have to order it online?

This is probably a really dumb question, but, you use this like a deep treatment after you have washed your hair right? you dont need to wash it out you just rinse it out?
    thanks

I have used Biolage for SMT. Try not heating the honey before mixing. It has never lightened my hair (i think the conditioner inhibits it) and the ingredients stay together better without adding heat.
