i used a coat hanger because my copper wire wasnt strong/resiliant enough for my tastes... im sure copper wire would work just fine.. i was thinking of doing annother one with a thin strip of a copper sheet that ill hammer a design into.. but im not sure if i can afford a copper sheet... they cost like 5 dollars..
i dont think ill have 5 dollars any time soon.. ive got to pay off my credit card..

if at first you dont succeed try try again...
here is my second try... its held up by a pin going through it just like on the hair twisters site... i was thinking about using the photos i took while doing this one as my next photo instruction on my website but i think its probobly too easy.. it doesnt actually need instructions you know?

why cant my camera capture colors properly!!
im off to go resize this picture ill be back to change it
ps: i used copper wire this time... so yes copper can work as long as its a small one ... i dont think it would work for a full ponytail

is your coil part at the top on the pin or the twisty part? mine is on the pin part... the twisters on the site have the coil only on the pin so thats why i did it that way... tell me how does the copper wire hold up when made into a bigger twister... i want to make one for my whole ponytail but im not so sure about the wires strength.. my wire got stronger/harder to accidentally bend out of shape the tighter a coil i made...

Hmm.. I didn't even realize there was a pin for the things on the site.. I am not quite sure how that works.. With mine, I just made a little coil at the top that I can hook onto my ponytail holder. My spirals are pretty sturdy, although the one I made for my entire ponytail thickness is doubled up and twisted.

I'm going to make one with my silver wire and use this dangle on it.. I will get some copper pieces and put a copper dangle on here!

    Here is mine!
