I tried wearing a high claw clip ponytail. But after 5 minutes of my ratty ends swinging all around me I gave up and put it all up securely in a log roll.

I work with kids and have come very partial to crown braids as lice is spreading

I work with children as well, and heard rumors of this happening in some of the older age groups. If it gets close to me, I may look into treating a head scarf with permethrin (I have a clothing application of this pesticide for tick season). I wonder if it would work against lice, I would guess it should

Ooh and I am wearing my hair down to a thanksgiving dinner, but will pack my ficarre for a quick but fancy-looking spock bun if it gets in the way!
