Required to login again to post

Hi, I'm still in the <25 posts status. Here's my problem:

1. After logging in and going to a thread, I click on the Reply to Thread button and compose my post.
2. When I hit the Submit button, I get a message that I don't have permission to post and that I have to log in again.
3. When I scroll to the top of the screen, it shows that I'm logged in.
4. I copy the post I composed.
5. I click on my login name and log in again, find the same thread, and then paste in the previously-composed response. Then it allows me post.

This seems like too many steps. What can I do to post the first time? Is this normal for a newbie account? Thanks.

When you log in, tick the "remember me" box. That should help you.

You likely have set your browser not to remember cookies or just need to clicky da box that L mentions.

As an FYI if you are on a computer where you can't stay logged in and you this is meaningless technobabble to you, your other option is to click the "go advanced" button after you hit reply. That will prompt the login right away instead of making you go through all those other steps.

OK so it needs to set the cookie to post, I gotcha now. I clear my browser cache often, so I'll keep setting it. Thanks to both of you.
