I usually use a satin bonnet.
Based on the comments in this thread, I ordered the sleep bonnet from adorabellababy on etsy yesterday. Hoping it helps keep my hair smooth.
Also ordered a couple of silk pillowcases a few days ago, but wondering if I should have bothered, as I have satin and never use them. Is there a difference?

I was the only one who wasn’t King Fu Fighting.
My hair is in either a single braid or a topknot overnight.
Opting out of Friend Requests, thank you very much!
I got a satin pillowcase when I decided to grow out my hair again. It really makes a difference! I prefer it to sleep caps, which get too hot at times.
Check out Amazon - they're not expensive.
I braid my hair before I go to bed, and I'm planning to order a satin scarf or pillowcase to prevent split ends.
I braid it and sleep on a silk pillowcase.

I loosely braid my hair and tuck it into a satin bonnet

My tried and true single stick bun. I love how secure it feels and it's the only style I can easily move around in. If I wake up in the middle of the night and it's falling out and become too loose, I have to redo it before I can go back to bed. That's my main protection for my hair, but my satin pillowcase helps too.
.
Loose ponytail thrown over my pillows. I haven't got any problem with tangles yet. I use just ordinary cotton pillowcases.
