New here - I am a reformed cut / dye addict who has been (mostly) good for the last oh, eight years or so, aside from an undercut that I loved while I had it, and a couple of disastrous "trims" in which 3+ inches were cut off each time, and not out of necessity. Turns out the stylist was drunk the first time. Turns out my SO (at the time - I've since upgraded) was drunk the second time. Moral: Don't let drunk people near your hair with sharp objects. Or as I now interpret it, don't let people near your hair with sharp objects. I do my own trims now, which is much easier given how long it is.

The majority of my hair is 32.5" (between WL and HL on me), but I am also growing out the undercut, which is currently CBL.

I henna'ed for years, but have in the last six months switched to using semi-permanent dark brown.

That's an idea! If you haven't trimmed past January 1st of this year, the 2018 challenge is still open!
