    Default The Bounce Curl Thread

    Hi All,

I have been seeing various products by Bounce Curl on social media for a while now, especially their light cream gel, but haven't tried it myself yet. I was wondering if anyone here has tried their products? If so, what did you think of them?

They recently came out with a heavier curl cream (Avocado & Rose Oil Clump and Define Cream) that is suppose to be moisturizing and protein free and I am interested in trying that along with their light cream gel.

On their website they list their products having no silicones, no parabens, no Sulfates, no PEG's, no DEA/MEA, & no animal testing which is in line with what I am looking for in terms of curly haired products.

If anyone has tried any of their products, I would love to hear from you! I am planning on placing an order soon but wanted to hear some feedback before I do.

    Thank you!

Their original bounce curl gel was quite popular on YT for a while there. Could be real, could be sponsored content.

Yes thats a very good point, it very well could be sponsored content. I think that is part of my hesitation.

Sure thing, here is the the link to the Avocado and Rose cream

I think I am going to bite the bullet and place an order. I will update once I try it out a few times. I like that their leave in (linked above) is protein free which my hair seems to need even more so during the winter months.

Ah yikes, that's a bit too pricey for the size. The ingredients look promising rather than the centronium (sp) chloride a little higher up than I'd like. I recently found that does not agree with my hair, while behentronium chloride is life.

The scent sounds heavenly too. May be I'd consider the hair perfume....

Look forward to hearing what you think!

Yes and it's pretty pricy for a small bottle.

I did hear good things about the Cantu gel (they have a gel now).

In any case, I stick to Eco styler, or my gel from Lidl or Aldi (they do good ones, I always look at the ingredients, though).

Its a shame no one here has even tried this line. I was hoping for more answers from people who actually use her stuff. I always wanted to use these but its sooo expensive.

How can I control my life when I can't even control my hair!

I am late to the party, but I bought the Wavy Curly Moisture kit that has the Clarifying shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-in conditioner, and the gel. I also got the defining brush and so far after using for a month my hair LOVES the products. They are a bit pricey, and tbh I probably will only repurchase the leave-in conditioner and the gel because I feel like styling products really are better than others I have tried and in order for me to justify the $$$ for those I am going to go back to a cheaper shampoo/conditioner in the shower.

My hair is 3a, low porosity, medium texture and medium density.
