You look cute with it short and it's so pretty when it grows out too! Gotta love that you can get away with both.

DecafJane, I just took a look at your album, and it is SO encouraging. I've go that super-mini ponytail thing going now, and to see how long your hair has come since August 08 is inspiring. You must feel great that you have made so much progress with your hair growth -- congratulations (and thanks for being an inspiration)!

PIXNA! I cannot TELL You how often I've thought of you and hoped you'd return! I missed you!!! It's LOVELY to see you.

I haven't cut my hair short, but I have cut-in layers and it's not even waistlength anymore, but I'm cool with it. I wear it down a WHOLE lot more. So yeah, I've cut. And growing out is a long process. Sounds like you've done a lot of progress already, though!

Gosh but it's nice to see you around!

LisaJaney -- how splendid to see you!!! Wow, it's like old home week!!! I'm glad you are enjoying your layers and wearing your hair down more. (At this point, I'm to short to go up, so I can only go down!) It's been so long since I've been here, it's not surprising that there are so many changes (with you, with the site). I'm so happy you are still here, LisaJaney!!!

Wintersun, how right you are that it is a long road back. I am truly flabbergasted how many of us shorties there are here -- super-shorties. I didn't expect there to be more than one or two. Do whatever you have to keep your hands off your hair -- a hat sounds like a good idea. Hairbands help to (at least they help me...a little). Even with our hair ultra-short, we can still have a hair toy or two.

TRESSES!!! Between you and LisaJaney and Flaxen, I'm tickled pink all over!!! Your hair is looking EXQUISITE!!! Gosh, I do miss my daily braid...sigh. I can barely get a teensy (and I do mean teensy!!) ponytail going, and even then the sides aren't long enough to go in it. Please send happy hair vibes my way, and maybe by this time next year my hair will be as long and gorgeous as yours (HA! a girl can dream, can't she?!!). Great to see you!
