State of your hair when you "call it"

I don't have an answer for this. Generally I'd say I'll call it when it is the length I'm calling in its average dry natural state. i.e. when it's wet I'm headed to tailbone but I'm not even at waist when dry,

Dry and pulled straight. I also like to check my length when it's wet, as well as gently brushing it out and seeing where it falls on its own. Impatient on all fronts

Dry and natural. My hair is a little wavy, but not enough for the waves to make a difference between straightened length and natural length.

I never measure dry and natural because at a certain point I hit SL and stay there as my coils get tighter the longer my hair gets. So I either call it dry and straight, or wet with me gently extending the strands to match how it would be straightened (since I don't straighten it often).

Dry and natural when the majority of it is there for me, because that’s how it is irl. Pulling it straight does make a difference of a couple of months but oh well.I just use that as an indication that I’m almost there.

This means I don't actually know the full length of my hair, I guess I'll never know because I don't want to straighten it!

I call my hair when it is wet and straight. Though I'll basically call it again when it hits dry! My hair can vary in wurliness by the day, and sometimes, it's a big difference

i call the milestones wet & straight to myself so i know with certainity when i reached it, but the length i put here is dry and natural. right now from right after diffusing to brushed straight it varies from BSL to elbow so anything else would be kind of chaotic...
