I'm currently in the process of learning to love my hair again, so I'm hoping that I reach that point and stop feeling so guilty about having to cut my hair. I really do miss the FTL length that I had prior to my big shed back in 2020 from losing weight too quickly, and I find myself beating myself up over it. I've recovered the thickness over the past two years... but man do I miss the length
So I suppose my goal is to love my hair again, and to grow it out/hopefully keep my newfound texture.

- reach hip, maybe even TBL
- try to reduce hair loss by: taking vitamins, eating healthy, and stressing less
- buy new hair sticks (mine broke )
- trims/s&d no more than once every 3 months
I hope to reach waist length by summertime next year! Just got my first trim of 2022 a couple weeks ago and don’t plan to get another one until I reach waist. After that I’d like to get to hip length but I’m not sure if that’s reasonable to hope for by the end of ‘23. I want to focus more on my oil and scalp massage routines <3
1. Get my hair to MBL. Microtrims only.
2. Improve my French/Dutch braids on myself (they look lovely on others).
3. Actually remember to take my vitamins everyday.
4. Wear my hair up most of the time because I can go longer between washes if I am not constantly touching my hair and making it greasy.
Well, my 2022 default plan of benign neglect did not work out so well. I have just done 2 massive S and D sessions and am a few inches shorter for it.
So the plan for 2023 is more frequent S and D, at least finger comb every day (leaving it up for a few days at a time = tangles = splits), better care in general and yes, vitamins.
