(ive always had alot of growth whenever i would wear a warm hat all day)

ok so i was wondering about athelites foot spray..miconazole nitrate 2%

ive really gotta get rid of the infection its so itchy..

im a little worried about triggering a migraine.. but i guess i could deal with one in order to stop the itching flaking grossness..

plus my hair has basically stopped growing.. im thinking the infection might have something to do with it..

If you start off with diluting it and gradualy work your way up to a straight application you shouldn't get any (or less bothersome) headaches- it worked for me

a half an half or 2 parts water to 1 part mn is what i used

Just to clear things up, I went into the drugstore today to get more Monistat Derm and read the ingredients:

Benzoic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Myristate, Polysorbate 60, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Stearyl Alcohol

NO Mineral oil! I asked the pharmacist about it, and he said that it's just the stuff that's in the 7-day packs, sold separately. It even says on it that it's for vaginal use.

Confusing! So, I guess in the US, Monistat Derm is something different...and all my search results were pulling up that.

Oh well, yay! I *heart* Monistat.

Just checking in to say I'm a big fan of Monistat. I have to use name brand, it's the only non-greasy one. MN is the only thing that stops my scalp from itching, and if I use it often I do get faster growth. I use it about once to three times a month but it's costly stuff, so I don't get crazy with it.

I works for me but I guess not everyone.

My favorite place besides the dollar store to get it is Kaiser Permanentes pharmacies. You don't have to be a member to by stuff (I am though). My local drug store wanted 21.00 for generic allergy meds for my son and kaiser wanted 7.00. I think Monistat is about $5.00 (generic).

I've used it full strength and water down and I personally have never had a headache.

    Update:

I've been using MN off and on for many months, but very consistently for the last 2-3 months (using MN every other day) and have not seen enough growth to warrant continuation of use. So, I'm done with this experiment. I just received my order of the MegaTek (see thread HERE) and am going to try this, instead. Good luck to the rest of ya, keep it up if it's working.

I'm still only getting 1/2 inch per month. But it is growing hair in my balding area.
