I'm new here. I've been lurking off and on since 2012. Over the past few weeks, I decided I really want to grow my hair out more, and need to make sure it's healthy.
When I was a child, I saw Crystal Gale on TV and was in awe. I would take my blanket and drape it over my hair to pretend it was super long.
As an adult, I don't feel that length would work for me specifically, but I do want it longer than it is now. At the moment, it falls just above my waist. My goal is to grow it to tailbone length.
My favorite way to wear my hair is... curled. I usually curl it after washing it. They typically last until my wash day (I wash every 3-5) days, but if they don't, I'll do heatless curls. I work part time moving patients around inside a hospital. The scrubs were damaging my hair (I typically walk 12ish miles each shift), so I've started experimenting with protective styles.
