I think this thread is really inspirational and the people are really supportive. I think BSL curly is such a huge milestone for curly girls like ourselves. You don't have too long to go! I look forward to watching your progress!

Yes! Reporting for duty!
I hit APL about two months ago but my amount of curl depends on the weather, so it's a rough estimation. When it's wet I can tuck the ends under the 'pits, though, which I suppose qualifies.

Can't wait to cover my boobs in hair!

Oh, forgot to ask:

When your hair is corkscrewy and curly, what counts as the Holy End Goal of this lovely thread, BSL? Measured wet or dry? I suppose can't work out how long I've got left to go otherwise!

I thought I was BSL but after straining with my right arm to find out where my hair ends in relation to my bra strap, I think I'm still about an inch or two north. Curses. But hey, right now it looks like this:

The bottom tips of my hair have reached APL

It's very exciting, and makes me feel more like a real long-hair gal. I'm going to keep tabs on this topic and will join you guys in (not so) patiently waiting for BSL.
