I'm in! Haven't trimmed since October, though I regularly S&D. Don't have plans on microtrimming my hair until Xmas or next spring... or until I think it needs it.

I haven't really decided if i am a trimmer or not. It's been about a year since my last cut.

Measured my hair for the first time ever tonight: 27.5 inches.

    May 2008 - 11"
    May 2009 - 18"
    May 2010 - 25"
    May 2011 - 31"
    April 2012 - 37"

I haven't trimmed since May 2008 when I cut all the dye off my hair. It was a A-line bob so short, it wouldn't even tuck behind my ears. The ends are looking ratty, though, so I am going to try this "search and desroy" (which is also the title to a favored song of mine) method of which you ladies speak.

Can anyone recommend a type pf scissor? Cuticle scissors, hair cutting scissors, swiss army knife, operating room scissors, anything? Those items are what I am working with. I wuold have to purchase hair cutting scissors, so a recommendation would be nice.

Thank you, and have a wonderful Tuesday!

I haven't trimmed my hair in 20 yrs. It wasn't growing for a long time , but when I stopped using any form of heat, wearing it up and started taking Biotin it is down to 45". My daughter (8yrs) has never had hers trimmed and hers is at 40"

I had stalled during a shed for five yrs. Thought I was terminal. I have not trimmed since 2001. last year the shedding stopped and I began a reclamation plan to regain thickness. It started growing again.
