    Default Halloween Hair Help

Okay, so I'm going for a "rock star" look for halloween, which basically means I'll be wearing jeans and a corset. The problem I have right now is what to do with my hair.

I trust you LHCers better than anyone else on this, since others might suggest I cut it into a mohawk and dye it green.

So, I've got about classic length, and I'd rather not wear it down and loose. All suggestions are welcome. And I suppose feel free to pose your own costume-related hair questions.

You can do a fake mohawk by doing multiple small ponytails one above the other from the nape to your crown, and then finish it off with all the remaining hair on the top of your hair in a poof kind of thing. I know I'm bad at explaining it - sort of like this.

Soft hair that is nice to sit on - now I'm bragging!

You could try a wig or those clip in colored streaks... maybe bun your hair or whatever and then put in the streaks and let them stick out around the bun...

I dunno... I think rockstar... I think bright colors in the hair.

Odangos! Or, in LHC speak, two bunny-tail buns above the ears. They look best (IMO) with a fringe, so if you don't have one, a clip-in in a bright colour could be fun...

I'm bumping this thread up, just this once, in case anyone else has any ideas before I run out of time.

If you are able to have high ponytail without headache, you could wear that. It was the top hair style when Elvis was young and every girl´s idol, even here in my country.

Kiitos. I may end up doing that, at least part of the time, just to keep it all out of my face while still trying to look the part.

If you've got the time (and probably someone to help you), small braids pulled into high pigtails or double buns could work.

Theres a youtuber called binosusume who has some great tutorials on faux-mohawks (a straight and a curly version)

Heres the link to the straight one one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJorW...eature=channel
