Do you like/love/hate washing your hair?

I love washing my hair. As a kid I loved taking baths and sloshing around and feeling my hair go all over like a mermaid's in the water. as an adult, I only get to do that so often...but it doesn't diminish the joy I feel in the feeling of hair gliding in the water.

I love the feeling of clean dry hair, but I dislike showering. It's boring and takes up too much time, and my hair takes a long time to dry.

I hate washing it because it's a PITA. Rinsing all the product out takes foreverrrr!

BUT, I do like the feeling of freshly washed hair. And when my roots are greasy, it feels great to get rid of the oil and have flowy locks again.

Love: That lovely clean feeling afterwards, the cool chill of damp hair, and my waves reappearing!
Hate: It takes forever to dry (about seven hours), the detangling post-airdrying, and it is a bit of a general hassle. Worth it though.

I voted for "I find it boring".

I do spend a little bit of time before washing massaging my scalp with oil (I have a really dry scalp, and this seems to help) and gently combing it through the length. I'll then wrap my hair in a very warm towel for an hour or so before the actual washing.

If I don't wash my hair, I only take a five minute shower. If I wash my hair...it takes 20-30 minutes!

And then I have to wait for it to dry...

And I have to spend time de-tangling it...

Mostly, I just hate the waiting involved!

I like the actual ritual of washing hair, but I don´t like the de-tangling afterwards.

I hate having wet hair, so I fall into the hate washing it category.

I love it! Especially if I have some new product or treatment to use. It has become a time for me to pamper myself.
