Question How long did it take you to go from SL to APL? APL to BSL?

I'm stuck in that awkward "past shoulders, but not near APL" stage, and some days it seems it will take eons to get me to my goal. Time for a reality check:

How long did it take you to get from SL to APL? From APL to BSL?

I really wish I could give a great and specific answer, but I'm not a measurement addict. Eventually I just noticed I hit the next milestone. I don't really remember going from waist to hip, but I managed it. I guess it was easier than watching the pot to see when it boiled. I also wear my hair up a lot, so it just happens to grow without me noticing.

Growth rates and stall frequencies are big factors in hitting any milestone, especially when you are chronically watching for any signs of progress.

Due to my weak ability to give you the answer that you want, I just hope you hit your next milestone soon!

SL to APL took from about October 2009 to May 2010. I did, however, trim a bit so it probably would have knocked a month or two off. I would say 5-6 months for me?

You have to remember though, everyone's growth rates and distances between shoulder and APL are different.

It'll happen before you know it

Shoulder to APL took about 9 months and APL to BSL took probably the same amount of time, or maybe a bit less.

My hair was about that length the begining of 2008, and now it's BSL approaching Waist, but I did 2 major trims (4" and 6") during that time. I have a really short back, though. I guess this response isn't at all helpful, haha.

I'm a very slow grower - SL to APL took 2 years. Another 2 to BSL and I'm not quite there yet.

SL to APL took about three months, APL to BSL took about five. That includes trimming, of course.
    My hair grows unusually fast.

I'm not exactly sure but I think it was between 8 months and a year, but I got a trim or two along the way.
