    Talking Just ordered Monoi today!

Yay! This is my first purchase based on what I've read on this forum. I guess I'm excited haha. I like the idea of using a scented oil. I was trying out EVOO which worked okay for my curly frizzy hair (especially when I left it in over night), but I don't really like the way it smells.

Based on what I've read here, coconut oil works really well to get rid of frizz, one of my main problems. I guess we'll see how it goes, I'm definitely willing to try anything once

Cool. Let us know how it goes. What are the ingredients again?

I'm still kind of a novice at this, but my understanding is that it's coconut oil scented with other oils, and according to the website there aren't any chemicals used in producing it.

Ooooh I love the smell of monoi oil
The one I get says it's made by infusing Tahitian gardenia flower petals in coconut oil. It can also be made by adding synthetic oils, apparently.

I hope you enjoy it, my hair (and nose!) like it a lot.

I have it in about five or six different scents. It is one of the few oils I actually like.
