I love both your hair axes, though I think I love the lower one more, Lignum Vitae is my favorite wood, but both are gorgeous and so are your hair.

    Thank you so much

I can't decide which one is my favorite, they are so different even though they are the exact same design. The one you are getting is very cool! Did you name it Anna's Execution?

Yes I named it Anna's Execution after the last woman who where executed for witchcraft in Switzerland, Anna Göldin, she was executed by decapitation, and after all most of the time for executions they did not use a sword or a fancy war axe they use a woodman's axe similar to the one the hair stick depicts.

Here is a bit more information on Anna:

Thank you for those links, that's an interesting story, particularly how she was exonerated two centuries later. Wow.

Yes, justice came way to late, but at least it came eventually. I want to get this movie but it is all in German and they are not big on subtitles and I am not sure my German is good enough to follow it.

Lucky you, you have a great brother in law.

I am waiting for a custom from OutNumbered. He is making a hair scythe for me with the shaft in Lignum Vitae and the blade in ebony. He have given me some pictures of the work in progress, I will not post them as I have not asked his permission and many artists do not like pictures of unfinished works to be spread, but I can say that I can not wait for it to be done as I think it will be lovely.
