OutNumbered Novelties definitely deserves its own thread! Rich is a very nice guy, and he makes such cool hairtoys, and anybody who likes to use a small weapon to keep her hair disciplined would no doubt be delighted to give one of the items from his Wooden Hair Armory a try!
So here are some of the items I have bought:
Dúrin axe in padouk wood. Gorgeous color, isn't it? The name is taken from the Voluspá in the Poetic Edda, and Tolkien "borrowed" it for his own stories - his Dúrin the Deathless was one of the first Dwarves.
Dvalin axe in Cardinal wood and Black and White Ebony. Again a name from the Voluspá that Tolkien borrowed.
Then there is Aeglos - this spear was a custom, and it seems this design has become quite popular! I was very particular about the woods I wanted for my spear, and it turned out very well indeed!
And yes, it was named for Gil-Galad's spear!
