Does anyone know the quality of Ayur Rajasthani Henna?

I found the most ridiculously low priced henna on amazon just now, $3.99 for 200g. Does anyone know if it is pure or has metallic salts or what? My guess is anything this good is too good to be true.

I haven't tried it, but read other posters used it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have metallic salts, but it has other herbs like amla, brahmi, etc...

Thank you, I searched for it and people said it worked well, but no one specifically mentioned if they knew if it had metallic salts.

Just my two penniesworth, but if it has other stuff added, or there's any question mark over ingredients, I personally wouldn't.

Pure body art quality henna shouldn't be gritty and shouldn't smell of anything other than sweet hay. Pure henna gives red, not brown.

I've used it; BUT the product I used is clearly marked to the effect that it is not 100%henna. Instead, it's an herbal blend for conditioning, cleansing, and SOME coloring. It has NO metallic salts.
I like it just fine and have had consistent results.
