To put the video right in the thread you copy the link and then choose "insert video" in the tools-see the little film icon.
That channel has more content for long hair art lovers, so do check the other videos on that channel.
I didn't want this thread to be a "bulky" thread and so I didn't embed the video.

My thoughts are to keep the content on the thread when possible instead of having to leave the page to watch a video or follow a link. But that is my style!
Not everyone even notices a link as the thread goes on. I was in the advertising business and my job was to make catchy visuals. This style is embedded in me for life
Thanks for starting this thread, I think it will be popular and fun.

I absolutely love this topic! I just bought some canvases, perhaps a long hair painting is in order...
LadyLongLocks I love the classics video, long hair was so common then they had so much inspiration to paint from. So envious! Just watching every-day ladies doing their routine brushing and styling was enough for a beautiful subject. Love the variation in art styles too.

The work of John William Waterhouse comes to mind when I think of the vibe all my long-haired dreams have...

Not very inspired but I've just found this quick sketch that I did some months ago. I've also checked some old paintings, and there are several long haired gals there, I'm sure I've done a bunch more but here's what I found by now. Most are quite old.

    Quick sketch

    Old watercolor (2011)

Digital oldie, it's basically an skin study but she's wearing a long haired hairstyle (anyone recognize the actress? lol)

    Old watercolor

    Quick self-portrait sketch

Digital WIP never finished :P Marceline from Adventure Time

Study for a siren head, WIP watercolor

WIP Lady Godiva in watercolor. I've got it finished somewhere. As it contains "nudity", I'll just post the hotlink: Lady Godiva

The original painting is a big favourite of mine, you can see it here

After my exams I've got to take my paintbrushes again... I really miss it, after a couple comissions in january I've totally stopped

Another painting that I love to bits, actually it's my fav painting ever, it's the Venus Birth by Cabanel, it's in the Museum D'Orsay in Paris, I've visited it several times. Hotlink because of nudity mimimi.
