Can you make a College-Age group? And a SoCal group? If groups do what I think they might, then we could organize SoCal meets though the group.

I'm not sure. You clicked on the name of the group, got taken to its page, and there was no "join group" link in the top right corner?

OK, I created a few more groups, and they're all set to Public.

But the only people I see belonging to groups are mods/admins.

Nope, not for me. And I NEED to be a member of the TMI group-- my journal has gotten ridiculously TMI since LHC went down. It's where I belong.

I can take a screenshot and post it if it would help, but I've looked all over the group page, and though it says it's public, there is no link to join, that I can see. I specifically checked where you said-- I assume it's supposed to be above the "view all members" link?

Yep. I think the settings are such that only mods and admins can join. Hey, Dianyla...your first admin duty is to open the groups so all can join! (Or course, being LHC, y'all will probably put a post/day count. I think I pass the 100 posts/60 days. )
