FIXED - Uploads broken since 24 August - FIXED

Trying to post an album picture, it shows this message:

Warning: fopen(/albumuserpics/111/111301.picture): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /includes/class_dm_picture.php on line 387

Hopefully it will be fixed soon

Yups, can't upload to my album either. Plus, even though I have posted more than the magic 25 times, I am not yet able include pictures directly into posts. I'm following the directions exactly, keeping the size under 100 kb etc. and I just can't get them to show up. Embarassingly I'm an IT writer and do stuff like this every day in online documents, so I'm hoping it's a issue with the servers and not my aging brain cells!

That's because, even if you make it to 50 posts by today, this is kind of a big website and those things take time to update. It took me 3 days to be able to use the permissions of 25+ posts. Just give it some time.

Er thanks, but I've had over 60 posts for about a month now. Any thoughts?

Don't mean to be rude by the way and it's definitely not a huge issue. I'm just wondering how this forum works and hoping I'll have full posting privileges eventually.

I have no idea why that happens, you should contact one of the mods and ask about it. It's probably just a minor trouble with the site, sometimes it happens. Should be fixed in no time.

You can actually do this from the moment you are activated.

What you do to add a picture into a post is to click on the

button and insert the URL of the image you wish to include. That wraps the URL in the necessary tags for the forum software to publish it in the post.

If you continue having issues with that particular process, please let us know your procedure so we can take a look at it. Good luck!

As for uploads, sorry folks. It's still broken.

Yups, I'm doing exactly what you mention above - I'm linking to specific pics in my Fotki album using the exact URLs and I get broken image icons every time. The images are definitely within the specified parameters, so I don't think that's the issue. I'm also able to link to those images from the naturallycurly.com forums, so I don't think there's an issue with the Fotki server either. I'd appreciate your help, but obviously there's no real urgency here. Thanks!

UPDATE: Just figured out the issue. Fotki parses the link incorrectly. I'm manually correcting and now it's showing up perfectly. Thanks again!
