Wow. One of your braids is twice as thick as all of my hair braided. So beautiful! You have my dream hair.

My friend playing with my hair. I wish we'd remembered to take out the elastic before we got the picture, but oh well.

As for me, I'm wearing my usual Dutch pigtails for sleep (and also because it's after my shower). The pictures below are from a couple of days ago and they're pretty much identical in "unusually well-defined braids." Why do I end up with the best braids when I'm either going to sleep or I'm not even trying? :/

Murphy's Law of Braiding? Haha. They really do look great. Nice work!

Ooh that's pretty! I would be pleased, too!

Dude, definitely on the team of "one of your braids is bigger than my single braid". It's working out well for sleeping? By the time I tried doing two braids for sleeping, the braids were long enough where they were just in the way all the time. I toss or turn once and suddenly they're all over the place and under me.

    That is way cool!

I'm debating about actually doing something to my hair for a change, even though I can't do anything close to what I'm capable of doing to other people.

Thanks for all the compliments! My hair is quite thick though braiding seems to make it look thicker, maybe cause it is on the coarser side I think. But regardless it always feels good to get nice compliments!
And Gumball the twin braids work well for me when it comes to sleeping. One they're not super long yet and two I sleep on my back and probably don't move too much. I tried just one but it was annoying having all the hair behind my neck so I figured this might work and its been good for a couple weeks.

I have been wearing a side English braid a lot lately. Today I decided to do something a little bit different and make three braids and braid them together. It eats up a lot of length, but I like it.

Okay - not pretty or tidy but I thought I'd finally try out a fishtail braid on my kinda greasy hair (it's dead in the office at the moment). Not very good but better than I thought it'd be, hence why I'm posting it ;D

Hopefully in a month or so I'll be able to do one a lot cleaner looking

Battle braids for the win! This is one of my favorite hairstyles. I wear this climbing. It eats up enough length so that the tassel doesn't dip into my chalk bag.
