Well, I did that years ago for my husband. He's got dark blonde hair and we were trying to see if a hair rinse would make it more golden. To be honest we didn't notice much difference, but I kept making the hair rinse for a while because I bought too much herbs. I suspect that only very light colored hair could take on a tint from chamomile tea. What is your natural color?
Chamomile tea has virtually no staining power. It's great for conditioning, but as you can see here, it doesn't do much--it's just one of those things that keeps getting passed around but doesn't do much, if anything, in practice-- as you can see here. These are all mohair strands soaked in the herb and question and water (just like for henna):
