trouble logging in...whitelist???

Hi I'm still fairly new here and I have no idea what is going on.
Everytime I try to sign in on my boyfriends computer I get this message

"In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist."

BUT when I go home I can sign in easily on my computer.

I don't understand what is going on.

I've had this problem when trying to log in from the main LHC page (login slot shows up in center of my browser). I've gotten around it by going to another page (articles, whatever), and using the login from the upper right corner, which always works.

Were you logging in from the same page the second time?

Yeah, I've just been closing and reopening the same page.

I did eventually get it to work, but I don't know what I did differently since, as I mentioned, I just kept closing and to try again.

Try clearing cookies and browser history.

There are other addresses that are quite similar which 'work' but cause problems. Flaxen was posting the correct one to use as this has happened before with others.

Yep. People were getting the whitelist error message when trying to log into www.longhaircommunity.com

Ahh ok. I didn't know that. I have it saved as forums.longhaircommunity.com on my computer... not sure what its saved as on my BFs I assumed it was the same. Obviously not then. Thank you.
