Hello everybody.
I'm here for some advice (giving and getting!). I'm right between shoulder and APL (just long enough that if I sit back my hair gets caught between my back and a high chair back) and I lighten it. I know that's TABOOOOO in good hair care routines, but it's been part of my identity since I was 13 and means a lot to me. So naturally, I have to do my best to keep it healthy. I've NEVER had any other color, just bleach-toned white. My natural is a gray-brown color. My hair usually grows just fine but it's been a bit of a pain since I moved to a humid climate a few months ago. Friz, tangle, break, repeat.
And braids/buns, not my look, but caterpillar ponytails fare fine with me. But anyhow looking forward to sharing my hair experience and receiving advice and tips.
