Hi, LHC! It's been awhile, I think my last post was in 2015 :0 If I remember correctly in that last post I put some questionable henna on my head and promised to report back, never to be heard from again...till now that is. Unfortunately I don't remember how that experiment went, but since I never bought that product again and yet I don't have any nightmares about it - I imagine it was underwhelming

Now, about my hair journey:
I grew my hair to my waist at the time that I was active on here, but since then I've had my hair change in between SL and BSL for a bit.
Unfortunately during the pandemic and due to my anxiety I decided that having so much hair was bothersome and too hot, and too much work etc etc... And cut it to pretty much a pixie length :0
I think I regretted it almost instantly, so now I'm patiently waiting to get my long hair back and trying to keep in mind to appreciate it more in the future <3
Currently I'm almost at shoulder length, with some of my hair touching my shoulders, and some still at my chin. The layers are such a pain 😖
On a plus side - all of my hair is virgin now, so I get to enjoy it's natural color and finally face all of my early greys. Which is an odd experience. I will definitely be lurking in the Salt&Pepper thread

Anyway, I think this forum have been a great reminder for me in the past to be a little more mindful about my self-care, and taking care of my hair have always been one of the main ways I showed myself some love, so I'm glad to be back! I'm excited to see old and new faces/hair/usernames

Hello! I am new, but welcome back

I currently have whatever being super close to a buzz cut but just enough on top to have a pixie is. I am trying to get my hair to chin length/neck length first, get a very blunt cut, and then go for classic!

I dyed my hair pretty close to my virgin color, so I hope growing it out won't be incredibly painful. I've never had beyond APL hair before so I am really excited! Welcome back again to your journey and I am happy to meet you!

Awh, that's such an exciting journey, good luck with your passed APL goals! I'm also waiting to do a blunt cut, right now since I can style it in a way that it looks even, I just can't bring myself to cut off the little growth that I have xD
