How did you find LHC?

Someone who were once a member here, used to talk about it. I think that's how I first heard about it. It was more than ten years ago, since it took some time hearing about it before I checked it out and made an account.

I came for the hair talk, but came to love the community.

If I remember correctly, I kept getting comments at how long my hair was and how fast it was growing, so at some point I got curious about things like average and max growth. I did some research and found this website easily enough from those keywords.

I started seriously growing out my hair before I graduated high school and I was hunting for grad hairstyles. I lurked for a long time before eventually making an account. I can't remember what I googled but it wats probably something simple like "long hair hairstyles".

Back in the olden days, I had a twitter account and remember someone saying something like, "oh folks from the long hair community have talked about XYZ for ages..." and I replied with WAIT is that a real place?? & that's how I found out about LHC.

I found myself looking into more uncommon oils to use for hair oiling on google, more detailed long haircare tips etc and found a lot of posts from LHC

I missed forums and wanted to find one specifically for long hair care. Looked up 'long hair forum' and it was as easy as that! To add to the nostalgia factor, LHC uses the same host as my favorite forum from years ago so I felt right at home.
