    Default Skin/Scalp Oil Level Correlation?

I'm curious if the levels of oil on your skin correlate with the presence of oils on your scalp? The skin on my face is dry and often flakes, and my scalp leans dry as well. How about you?

Default Re: Skin/Scalp Oil Level Correlation?

I have dry, sensitive skin, so it's possible I have a dry scalp as well. I also have dandruff, but it might be more the dry type, since the flakes don't look that oily to me. To treat it, I use Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dry Scalp shampoo plus conditioner about once a week. When I think of it (which isn't often, but sometimes I have to, since my skin gets too itchy), I treat my dry skin with aloe vera skin moisturizer. I don't treat my hair or scalp with anything other than my regular shampoo plus conditioner.
