Hello!

Hi! I've been lurking here for a while now, but have never got around to joining until now.

A quick background of how I got here is, a few years ago, I decided to start growing my hair after cutting it to chin length. I recently reached past WL, but then chose to cut it back to BSL due to uneven/thinner ends. I really wish I hadn't done that now though - I feel like if I'd just maintained at WL for a while it would've improved anyway. But it reinforced to me that I do, in fact, enjoy having long hair and really want to continue growing it

So my goal is to try and grow back to WL and hopefully this time it'll be a little less uneven and thin!

I really look forward to hopefully being more involved in the community

Hello there and welcome!

I completely understand the urge to chop to thicken things up! I have to remind myself how close I am to my length goal and think "It'll just have to get thicker eventually, right?" Lol embrace the fairytale ends, hon.

Good to know I'm not the only one who's struggled with this, haha - definitely will be embracing the fairytale ends from now on!

Welcome! I've been feeling a little like that lately too and then I remind myself that those thin ends are "sacrificial ends" and are usually hidden in updos anyway (for me).
