I bought one from Ebay, the teeth were not smooth, very jagged. I purchased w/the thought of using it on my hair. The comb was very fragile, and from only being stored in my purse, a tooth broke...Then I accidentially dropped it on a ceramic floor and it shattered...It was lovely while it lasted, but far too delicate for day to day use.

If there were a decorative jade comb that is very smooth I would just love to have one!

I'll let you know if I ever get around to making some! If I do, I guarantee they will be smooth!

I also had a jade comb from ebay and didn't think it was smooth enough between the teeth to use on my hair. I also agree with the "fragile" aspect of it. I tried to sand between the teeth to make them smoother and the sanding paper broke a couple teeth!

I have a jade hairstick that my aunt brought me from Taiwan. I haven't used it, though, because it's heavy, and I'm afraid it would fall out of my hair and break.

sorry to resurrect such a dead thread, but i was in the market for a new eyelash curler, so i was on this website that has cheap beauty products on it,and they have this jade comb! it looks like it would only really work on straight hair but im pretty interested in it.
