Castor oil for hair growth?

You could mix the castor oil with your herb oil. The ingredients you listed do sound good.

Will castor oil also darken hair if it is applied to the scalp only?

Which oil would you recommend to mix the castor oil with for fine hair & a dry scalp?
I don't want to make this scalp treatment to thick because my scalp is too sensitive for conditioner so I'd have to wash with shampo, but not too light because I fear it will dry out my scalp then. Any recommendations?

I'm getting a LOT of itty bitty baby hair sprouting all along my hairline (and maybe elsewhere, but I can definitely see them along the hairline)...right now they're ranging from less than 1/4" long to ~1.5" long

I didn't notice any darkening yet, but I have brown hair...

And I also had dry scalp that is gone! I use the babylove pflegebad from DM to wash my hair and I'm very happy with it, it takes all the oil out of my hair.
To mix it: try olive oil 1:1 ratio.

Ok, this is it, after following this thread with great interest, I have finally bought my first bottle of castor oil. My next wash day is tomorrow and I doubt I'll have received it by then, but I will definitely try it next weekend. Will report as soon as I've used it!

I've been doing this for... 3 weeks now.

Part of me wonders if the vigorous scalp massage to get the castor oil OUT when I'm washing isn't encouraging growth as much as anything else...
