What are you mixing it with or are you wanting to use it alone?

yes, same here.
Yeah, me too (when I do mix it with other oils, cause in most cases I use it straight). But lets say it's something like 3 parts CO with 1 part some other oil (grapeseed, coconut...).

I have castor oil in my hair right now. I mixed it with equal parts of coconut oil, and then added a few drops of rosemary, atlas cedarwood, and lemongrass eo's. Boy, this stuff is thick! I am going to have lots of fun getting it out of my hair tomorrow morning before work! :P
I am really glad I found this thread! My hair loves oil of all kinds, but my scalp usually still feels dry. I'lll try castor oil next and see if that helps.

How does Castor Oil work in conjunction with Monistat cream? Has anyone tried it together, like castor oil at night, monistat in the morning after washing?
I've been using castor oil on my eyelashes for about three weeks, and I have to say, the growth is *astonishing*. I wouldn't have believed it, but I have these longer, thicker eyelashes. I'm also putting a small amount on my eyebrows as well. It's really good stuff.
I don't know about hair though - it's so thick and gloopy.
Castor oil is used to induce labor. It is a laxative that can - not always induce labor IF baby is ready - but in doubt don't.
Since anything use on your skin is absorbed in your body, I guess they are just being extra cautious!
As anyone tried to remove the castor oil with Indian herbs?? I know it is very thick so is shampoo a must?
