Poll - What do you wash your hair with?

Hi everyone

I thought I would have ago at doing my first poll

I'm not sure what I am doing. but I have to learn sometime

So please forgive me if this has already been done and if I mess it up lol. Cross fingers it works!

What do you wash your hair with?
Do you like the results of what you are using?
Have you had any probelms with it yet?
How did you deal with the problem (If you had one)

What do you wash your hair with?
I have been using my natural Trevarno lavender,rosemary and tee tree shampoo bar.

Do you like the results of what you are using?

The first 3 weeks Have been true love with this shampoo bar. But...

Have you had any probelms with it yet?

Yes. Today I have a horrible greasy waxy gunky feel to it. Me and shampoo bar are going though a tif and a rough patch.

How did you deal with the problem? (if you had one)

Well I can not get this wax stuff off. So im going to use my Urtekram lavneder shampoo hopefully this mild shampoo will help

Will you still use your chosen product?

I will, because I hate sls and things in shampoos. I like how my shampoo bar has no bad chemicals in. But hopefully I don't get the wax stuff again. I might give the shampoo bar thread a visit

I use different washing methods.

Egg wash.
Indian herbs.
SLS free shampoo with decyl glucose as cleaning agent.

Do you like the results of what you are using?
Yes

Have you had any problems with it yet?
Getting the pre oil out, especially with herbs. And, the herbs splashing around in the bathroom.

How did you deal with the problem (If you had one)
Changing the properties of ingredients and changing ingredients.

Will you still use your chosen product?
I will keep the methods that I succeed with, and rotate between them.

I too have used eggs. I did get good results from them

But it's way too cold here in England to shower off eggs with cool water.

Pantene Nature Fusion

Yes so far.

Have you had any problems with it yet?
Nope, it works great with the other products I use on my hair (oils, lotions, etc).

Will you still use your chosen product?
Yes until I find something better suited for whatever my hair decides is its next problem!

I am bit unsure about the price its abit expensive. Do you needs loads of soapnuts to make a shampoo with it? Thanks!

I might I buy them and give them a go. If my shampoo bar doesn't behave lol

I CO wash so most of the time so I am washing with a thin, runny, el cheapo conditioner. I do use shampoo now and then and don't worry about SLS. I've used both SLS and non-SLS shampoos and can't see that there is a difference

I use a "real" shampoo for 2 reasons. One is to clarify and the other is when I am feeling my hair is too gold and needs to be nudged back to being an ashier shade of blonde and I use a blue/violet shampoo and conditioner. I've tried the CV shampoo bars and hated them. I've never tried herbs.

Hi Janeytillie! Here's a UK vendor that I buy from, I really like their soapnuts and it is a good price:

I use approx. 100 g. to make about about 8 washings worth of shampoo. So, the 500 g. bag will last me over a month, but I wash every day. Plus, you can re-use the soapnuts too - so you can actually double your use out of them!

If you check my siggy link, I have been updating it with pics and lots of helpful suggestions from other folks who have also been washing with them! :-)

CV Shampoo bars, Flower Moon Diary Whip, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo, and various conditioners

Do you like the results of what you are using?
I love the shine!

Have you had any probelms with it yet?
My problem with CO was that I had to wash every day or my scalp oils would make me look like an oil slick.

How did you deal with the problem (If you had one)
I'm shampooing more often, but with gentler shampoos.
