It just hit me I can use my sweet almond oil in my difrizz spray. I have run out of the jojoba oil too. I was going to throw it out because I was using it by itself and my hair didn't like it. Maybe mixed with the other stuff it would be ok.

I made this for the first time the other day and I love it! I left out the glycerine because I didn't have any, and used sweet almond oil instead of jojoba but it's great.

The only problem I have is that the spray bottle I got is pretty useless so I have to just spray some on my hands and gently smooth it over, but I've got an almost-empty leave in conditioner bottle that I'll use next time.

    Thanks Kimberlily!

Thanks so much - my hair loves this!

I used orange-blossom water which I had lying about, and it smells gorgeous. Also I used aloe juice (from Alnatura) as I couldn't find the gel in the shops here in Germany - so I'll keep the mix in the fridge.

Is it supposed to be that the jojoba oils stays floating on top (except when the mixture is shaken)?

Yes, Leneveu, the jojoba will float to the top. Totally normal. If you use a higher ratio of aloe gel (instead of juice), it stays suspended better, but shaking it solves the problem if it floats to the top.

I think I have everything except the glycerine for this. Wow, a hair spritzer that doubles as a make-up remover too!!! I'm sold!!!

I'm anxious to try this recipe out. I might add a little honey or agave nectar so that I get a little bit of hold.

How long can you keep your spray before it goes bad?
