How far are you away from your goal?
The thread about your ultimate goal length got me thinking.
As I trawl around the LHC, it seems like the longer your hair is, the longer your goal is. I wondered if this was an accurate perception.
How far away are you from your goal length? Are most people picking goal lengths that are X inches away from their current length, or is there little correlation between how long your hair is now and how long you want it to be?
(This poll isn't meant to be depressing.)

I'm about negative 3 inches from my immediate (which would currently be my ultimate goal since I don't know where I'll go from here) goal. Because I'm lazy/busy/preoccupied hahaha...I really need a trim

When I first joined my goal length was my current , but now I'm thinking 2-3 inches more wouldn't be so bad

Oops. Shows that I'm a longhair--I didn't even think to include a goal length that is shorter than what you have now, or currently what you have.

I'm 5.9 inches from my goal. I trimmed more than an inch 3 days ago because I would like to have even hemline and thick ends. I'm addicted to trimming () so I don't know when I'm going to reach my goal length which is 50".

I'm 6-8" away from my goal of tailbone which has always been my ultimate goal. That said, it's looking more and more like I might eventually grow longer -- but for the moment, I'm refusing to think about that, and tailbone is my goal.
don't know whether your hair is brown or red? us neither!
hit my length goal of tailbone ... now learning to maintain and aiming to reduce split ends!

I'm about a year and half to two years away from my goal which is waist length.
I suppose two and a half years to waist length, undamaged.

I'm about 2 maybe 3 inches away from tailbone, it's sooooooo close. If I could resist tidying up the ends so much it would be sooner.
