Question ...Do you miss your "triangle head"?

Believe it or not, i do.

I have an incredible amount of taper down my length, which prevents my ends from forming the base of triangle. I should be glad because hair looks "nicer" this way, but i really miss my massively thick, straight-across hemline. I no longer feel the thickness when i hold the ends in my hand

I even started to trim my hair to get my triangle back!

Now i wonder if anyone else feels the way i do. Be it because of breakage, thinning or layers; do you miss your triangle?

I have got to say, I really do not miss mine. I hated it so much I had my hair severely thinned (this was years ago) and aside from fixing the pyramid hair problem, I was very unhappy. I like my thickness, it is a healthy symbol for me. My hair thickness is going to move into iii soon, if my pony circumference gets any larger. It is already almost 5 inches, and I am still growing layers out. That's also why I can't do many buns to save my life.

I don't miss mine at all...I looked like I was wearing a cape, and being short and overweight....it just wasn't a good look. Layers and a taper is much more flattering to me. And my hemline is never very thick no matter what

I don't miss it, either. I have layers... though that just gives me diamond-shaped head.

I can't wait for my hair to fairy tale and also to gain some length(weight) to make it less wide.
I want to finally get back to Classic. Growing again starting March 2018.

I was thinking about this earlier, about the impending triangle which will come when my hair gets longer.

The last time I grew my hair out to BSL with a straight hemline and suffered from triangle head but didn't call it that. I used to straighten my hair and I recall having hair like my dogs ears, where it's all straight and flat near the top then goes into what I can describe as pom poms or powder puffs near the bottom. Straight and thick.

I'm hoping to avoid that this time round but I find it easier growing my hair with a straight hemline so I guess I don't miss my triangle head, but I may have to embrace it in the future for a short while.

I don't (even us straighties get triangle head ), but I can understand if you do It would feel strange, if you were used to having your hair one way and then changed to something unfamiliar. Personally, I'm enjoying thinner ends - even considering getting layers cut in, because I like having thinner ends in updo's.

Sorry to be off-topic, but if your ponytail circumference is almost 5", you're already iii thickness!

Ha! That is exactly what I have; layers give me a little taper and length has tamed it a bit, but nothing can stop the wedge shape of my hair. Diamond it is.

I guess maybe I would miss it if it went away; it would be a very different feeling.
